Our recycled precut tennis balls are gently used tennis balls that are washed, dried, inspected, and prepared for a second use on classroom chairs and desks.
The approximately 1-inch Y-shaped cut is designed to open around a chair or desk leg and hold snugly once the ball is pushed fully into place. The balls are just under 2½ inches in diameter and are intended for chair and desk legs up to 1¼ inches in diameter.

Find the opening
Squeeze the tennis ball slightly so the Y-shaped cut is easy to see and open.
Push over the chair foot
Press the ball firmly over the bottom of the chair or desk leg until the foot is seated well inside.
Check the fit
A snug fit is preferred. Confirm the ball is fully installed before putting the chair back into regular use.
